Copyright Policy
Last updated 17 June 2026
Users of Agedeck may only publish content they created themselves, are licensed to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to publish. This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints and counter-notices.
1. Your responsibility when you publish content
You may only upload text, photos, videos, testimonials, logos, documents, or other material that you created, that you have clear permission or a licence to use, or that is otherwise lawful to publish.
If content was created for a client, principal, insurer, employer, or another third party, check your contract before posting it on your Agedeck page. If the rights were assigned away or portfolio use is restricted, you must not publish it.
2. Sending us a copyright complaint
If you believe material on a page hosted by Agedeck infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with:
- your full name and contact details, including email address;
- details of the copyrighted work you say is being infringed;
- the exact URL or URLs where the allegedly infringing material appears;
- a statement that you genuinely believe the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act for the owner; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We review notices under the copyright rules that apply to us, including the Malaysian Copyright Act 1987. Incomplete notices may be rejected or may take longer to process.
3. Counter-notice if your content was removed
If we remove your content after a complaint and you believe that happened by mistake or because the material was misidentified, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] with:
- your full name and contact details, including email address;
- what content was removed and the page URL where it appeared before removal;
- a statement that you genuinely believe the removal happened because of mistake or misidentification;
- your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, unless another mandatory law applies to you; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We may forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If the dispute is not taken further within a reasonable period, we may restore the material.
4. Repeat infringement
Users who repeatedly post material that infringes copyright may have content removed, accounts suspended, or accounts terminated under our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
5. False or abusive notices
Do not send notices or counter-notices that you know are false, misleading, or abusive. A bad-faith complaint can expose you to legal liability.
6. Copyright contact
Our designated contact for copyright matters is [email protected].
